Become a police officer

Are you interested in becoming a police officer via the Degree Apprenticeship Route?

Could you make a difference?

A career in policing can be extremely rewarding, both for the individual and also for the communities they'll serve, and there’s never been a more exciting time to join the police with the launch of two new entry routes to becoming a police officer.

ARU has proudly partnered with police forces across the East and South East of England, and London to recruit and educate new police officers through the new routes that aim to further professionalise policing as a career by raising educational outcomes.

It's a career with a three year fully funded route

The three year fully funded on the job Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship route allows individuals to embark on an exciting career like no other. Whilst working towards a fully funded degree, they'll earn a competitive salary and make a difference to their local community. They will be a police officer from the day they join, working alongside experienced officers whilst practically applying their learning.
