National Audit Office (NAO) ACA Apprenticeship 2026

The National Audit Office (NAO) is now accepting applications for its Apprentice Accountancy Training Scheme.


If your students want interesting work with real impact, this apprenticeship offers a clear route into a respected profession and the chance to help improve public services. Our work is investigative and analytical, helping Parliament hold government to account and ensuring public money is well spent. It goes far beyond auditing, covering areas such as healthcare, education, climate, and defence – helping to make government decisions transparent and impactful.


Applications open on Thursday 11th December and close on 30 March 2026 (11:59 PM).

Who can apply?


School and college leavers who want to start their career and gain a professional qualification. The scheme provides a structured pathway to the ACA qualification through ICAEW, with full training and support.
