Virtual Higher Education Careers Fair

The Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) is hosting a virtual HE fair next week, running Tuesday 4th May to Friday 7th May.

  • Sign up here: https://typ.vfairs.com/
  • There are around 45 employer talks across the week, with different career / subject areas each day.
  • Student ambassadors will be present throughout the event, with a live student ambassador panel each day between 12.30 and 13.30 along with a student ambassador lounge at the end of each day between 15.00 and 17.00. Our student ambassadors will be representing a variety of higher and degree subjects. Participants can interact with ambassadors 1:1 through chat or video messenger (for added peace of mind for all video chats participants cameras will be turned off and a member of neaco staff will be safeguarding calls).
  • This event is aimed at students studying in years 12/13 or at Level 2/3 – it could also be useful for year 11’s to sign up too!
  • On Thursday 6th May there will be a parents/carers event running 17:00-19:00 (details attached)
  • Attendees can login in from Friday 30th April to familiarise themselves with the platform.
  • Attendees can register, view the agenda and read through FAQs at https://typ.vfairs.com. Once registered, they will receive an automated email with their login details.
  • We’ve created a supporting resource which will be downloadable ahead of the event to help participants plan the content they would like to watch, make note of what they have learnt during sessions and set actionable targets to take away (attached). There’s also some useful info for parents/carers too.
  • If people would like to attend but can’t make the dates or times, they are still able to register and access recordings for up to 30 days following the session. This playback feature can be utilised through tutorials, assemblies and set as homework.
