Are you a budding allied health professional?

AHPs Day on 14 October celebrated the hundreds of allied health professionals (AHPs) working in the NHS and the huge difference they make to patient care every day.

This group of professions includes all the ‘p’s, so paramedics, physiotherapists, podiatrists and prosthetists/orthotists.

And there are arts therapists, operating department practitioners and radiographers too.

Check out the whole list .here

You will need a degree to qualify and practise as an AHP, either through a university course or a degree apprenticeship.

There are many support and technician roles available too, all of which provide a vital service as well as a chance to see if a career in one of the professions is the right choice.

Our Facebook Q & A was on Thursday 14 October and is just the thing if you want to find out more and have your questions answered, so we look forward to ‘seeing’ you and your students there. The session is available to watch now.
