Since The Sixth Formers' Guide to Degree Apprenticeships was launched earlier this term, more than 20,000 students, parents, teachers and careers staff across the UK have read the new guide. The free 100-page digital guide provides comprehensive information on how degree apprenticeships offer an 'earn as you learn' way to achieve a university degree - and a debt-free route to a guaranteed graduate job in some of the most sought-after careers and professions.

What's in the Guide? Produced in partnership with the Department for Education and The Careers & Enterprise Company, the guide incudes:

Read the Guide Special TV Programmes on Degree Apprenticeships The Sixth Formers' Guide to Degree Apprenticeships is accompanied by two special TV programmes to introduce degree apprenticeships to sixth form students and their parents. The first programme explains 'What is a degree apprenticeship?' and 'Which Degree Apprenticeships are Available?', and includes a studio discussion with recruiters from KPMG and PwC about careers in professional services, plus interviews with degree apprentices working on digital & technology apprenticeships. The second programme features interviews with degree apprentices from BDO and JPMorganChase, expert advice from apprenticeship recruiters at AtkinsRéalis and Rolls-Royce, a focus on careers in management accounting, and analysis of 'University or a Degree Apprenticeship?'. Both programmes are hosted by Martin Birchall, editor of The Sixth Formers' Guide to Degree Apprenticeships, and Chanise Evans, a former apprentice and presenter at the BBC. Employer News & Application Closing Dates

The guide is supported by leading UK degree apprenticeship employers, including law firm White & Case, the BBC, accounting firms Deloitte and EY, and AWE, the nuclear defence organisation. Applications for PwC's Virtual Insight Programme are now open. This three-day programme, designed for students in Years 11 & 12 (England and Wales), Years 12 & 13 (Northern Ireland), and S4-5 (Scotland), helps participants develop key employability skills while exploring career options at PwC.
