 A message from Young Professionals

It’s not very often I get as excited for an event as I am for this opportunity that I’m about to share with you, as never before have we had such a senior female executive speaker join us for an Insight Event!

I’m proud to announce that on Tuesday 27th September from 5:00pm - 6:00pm we’ll be joined by the Chief Chairwoman of one of the most successful businesses in the country, FTSE insurance company Direct Line Group for their opening virtual Insight Event with us.

Danuta Gray has been Chair of the Board at Direct Line Group since August 2020. Danuta was Chair of Telefónica in Ireland until 2012 having previously been its Chief Executive between 2001 and 2010. Danuta also held a variety of senior positions within the BT Group between 1984 and 2001 and has been Senior Independent Director of the Aldermore Group, Non-Executive Chair of St Modwen Properties and a Non-Executive member of the Ministry of Defence Board.

As Chair of the Board, she leads the board of directors at the company. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from a C-level speaker with vast experience at the top of a number of billion-pound turnover organisations. We’ll hear all about her experiences in the corporate world as a top businesswoman as she looks to inspire the next generation of young talent to set out on their own careers in business.

We’ll also get to hear all about the careers at one of the top insurance brokers in the country and let me tell you, insurance is a very lucrative industry. Some of the most profitable firms in the world are in the insurance business. Join us virtually to hear from and ask your questions to the leader of a multi-billion turnover organisation and find out how you could one day become the Chairperson of a global company.
