National Grid- VWEX Year 12


National Grid, one of the world’s largest energy companies, will be offering Y12/13 students a one week of simulated virtual work experience through our Connectr platform.The work experience provides amazing insights into the energy sector, an industry that is required to fill 400,000 roles by 2050 to help the UK reach its Net Zero target! What will students get from the programme? 
  • Online blended learning approach for students to take up a 5-day interactive challenge and digital project.
  • The blended approach is combined with live sessions with static learning content including quizzes, videos, live Q&A, challenges, problem-solving project. 
  • Students will develop key workplace skills such as presentational skills, project management and employability skills from communication, leadership and creativity and problem-solving.
  • Students will be offered the chance to network with digital mentors (mix of mentors from National Grid & HMJV to find out more about their role)They will be offered an invite to our LPT site tour and win a amazon gift voucher everyday!
