Military Families Event

 



 

‘Military Families: Understanding University’ is a joint event delivered in partnership between Make Happen and the University of East London.

 

 

This free online event will be aimed at parents/carers and students in years 10-13 from military families. This event will take place on Thursday 11 February 2021 from 6:00-7:00pm.

 

We will explore aspects of attending university, from entry requirements to student finance.

 

On the evening, we will be discussing:

 

• Life at university: the UEL campus, support and well-being

• Fees and financial support available to students

• Pre-Entry courses for mature learners: New Beginnings, Get in to     Law/Nursing (Aimed at parents/carers)

• How to achieve educational success (aimed at students)

 

Plus, there will be a live Q&A, where you can have your questions answered by current/former students.
